The picture above shows a worker applying AIT Multi-Purpose Manhole & Septic Joint Seal. It is as easy as it looks - no mixing, no sandblasting or drying concrete beforehand. Simply clean the surface of loose debris and pour a continuous bead of AIT Joint Seal. A damp surface will not inhibit the performance of our seal.

Sealed Manhole

This picture shows the completed manhole. You can backfill immediately. After 48 hours of cure time, the structure will easily pass a vacuum test. AIT Multi-Purpose Manhole & Septic Joint Seal has proven it will eliminate I & I problems!  What is I & I?

Coverage Notes:
One-pound joint seal will pour a 1" bead approximately 25' in length.

One-pound will seal:
2 - 48" Cone or Barrel section joints or
2.5 - 27" Adjustment Ring section joints or
2.5 - 2' x 3' Catch Basin Adjustment Ring section joints

The photos below demonstrate how easy it is to use. Simply brush the ring surface free of debris and pour a continuous bead. Place the next ring and repeat the process. Cities with a maintenance program that do many overlays often find themselves ahead of schedule due to the ease of application.
