Vacuum Test 10 inches with appropriate formula.

Minimum Requirements: Flexible Urethane Joint Seal
A. Expansion rate not less than 300%
B. Adhesion to concrete and cast iron - minimum 8 psi (60% over vacuum)
C. Elongation rate of not less than 60%
Note: Must verify minimum requirements with independent test laboratory report.

2.0 FRAME (CASTING) AND ADJUSTMENT RING CHIMNEY SEAL
2.1 The Casting shall be adjusted to the elevation required.
2.2 The adjustment shall be made from the top of the manhole cone to the bottom of the manhole frame or casting by installing concrete adjusting rings, minimum 2" thick.
2.3 The concrete adjusting rings shall be sealed to the cone and one to the other by applying a ¾" to 1" bead of the A.I.T. Multi-Purpose Manhole and Septic Joint Seal as manufactured by American Infrastructure Technologies, Inc. (320)272-0133 or approved equal.
2.4 The casting shall be sealed to the last adjusting ring in the above-described manner.
2.5 The entire installation shall be made according to manufacturer's instructions.

3.0 MANHOLE BARREL AND CONE SEALS
3.1 The Barrel to Barrel and Barrel to Cone Sections shall be sealed one to the other by applying to the top of the joint a ¾" to 1" bead of the A.I.T. Multi-Purpose Manhole & Septic Joint Seal as manufactured by American Infrastructure Technologies, Inc. (320)272-0133 or approved equal.
3.2 The manhole joint sealing compound shall be installed according to the directions supplied by the manufacturer.
